Friday, March 31st: Thursday's "Sweet Sixteen," Wrapping Up The Month Of March

ICYMI: Yesterday was the final day of the month with two tournaments on the schedule, the first of which got underway at 11:00am ($80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties $2,000 GTD).  The tournament drew a field of (21) total entries, and once registration closed, finished with a prize pool of $1,790 ($210 bounty pool).  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, but when the field reached six-handed play, the remaining players agreed to a deal.  Ursula Buffa (Pompano Beach, FL) was the "declared winner" in the chop, and earned $527 for the top spot finish, a total that almost eclipsed her recorded career earnings.

Much of the focus coming into the day was on the evening tournament, a $60 No Limit Hold'em event with a $12,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament, which began at 6:00pm, attracted a field of (325) total entries.  After including the optional "add-on" at registrations close, the prize pool ballooned to $16,550.  A total of (36) spots were getting paid, with the posted first place prize sitting over $4,400.  It was "business as usual" as the field began to shrink, with players reaching the money just after 10:00pm.  Tournament tables continued to break, until the point was reached where only two remained.  After a few eliminations, we saw something occur that may actually be a first in the Isle Poker Room...a sixteen-way chop!!  All but one player of the final sixteen earned $885 for their efforts, with Bret Grebow (Delray Beach, FL) taking home $889 and the trophy (as the declared winner).  The list of full results will be posted next Monday, as part of the "Week In review" feature, recapping each and every daily tournament from the week prior.

Tournaments: There is one tournament on the schedule this evening, beginning at 6:00pm.  The $150 No Limit Hold'em has a $10,000 guarantee, and has surpassed that number each Friday more months.  It's the first of four events for the weekend, and is tied for the largest guarantee as well.

Promotions: With a one day "breather" on Thursday, the high hand promotions are back in full swing to start the weekend, beginning with the "Turbo High Hands."  From the moment the doors open at 9:00am, until 12:00pm, $100 will be awarded to the qualifying high hand every (10) minutes (with rollovers).

At noon, the high hands transition to $250 every (20) minutes, lasting until 4:00pm (with rollovers)...at which point they ladder up $500 every (20) minutes (with rollovers), running from 4:00pm-12:00am.  It's well over $16,000 in high hand money ready to be awarded over the course of the day, and should be one of the busiest days of the week (for cash games).

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em  $10,000 GTD

- Players will begin with a 20,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (12) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels are (25) minutes in length

ICYMI: "Spin To Win:" Money Wheel Results (March 29th)

From 12:00pm-11:00pm yesterday, the "Spin To Win" high hand promotion was running, one of the most popular poker promotions you'll find in the state (as well as one of the richest).  The player with the "winning" high hand from each half hour is awarded an opportunity to spin the "money wheel," which sits located in the "stage area" of the poker room, closest to the cashier.  There are over (70) different slots on the wheel, all with different monetary amounts.  The "major" amounts that can be won are $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, and $5,000.  If (and only if) the high hand that qualifies is a royal flush, the $5,000 "Jackpot' slice is worth $25,000.  Posted below are all of the results from yesterday's promotion (along with the game the player was playing):

12:30pm: $200 (2/4 LHE)
1:00pm: (No High Hand)
1:30pm: $250 (1/2 NLH)
2:00pm: $350 (1/2 NLH)
2:30pm: $275 (2/5 NLH)
3:00pm: $475 (1/2 NLH)
3:30pm: $625 (1/2 NLH)
4:00pm: $750 (2/5 NLH)
4:30pm: $350 (1/2 NLH)
5:00pm: $225 (2/2 LHE)
5:30pm: $350 (2/2 LHE)
6:00pm: $650 (6/12 OE)
6:30pm: $625 (1/2 NLH)
7:00pm: $350 (1/2 NLH)
7:30pm: $400 (2/5 NLH)
8:00pm: $275 (2/5 NLH)
8:30pm: $525 (6/12 OE)
9:00pm: $275 (1/2 NLH)
9:30pm: $575 (1/2 NLH)
10:00pm: $300 (2/5 NLH)
10:30pm: $400 (1/2 NLH)
11:00pm: $225 (2/5 NLH)

There was a total of $8,175 in high hand money awarded over the course of the promotion yesterday, much of which was won by "no limit" players.  With only two limit hold'em players getting a chance to spin the wheel, it marks the biggest discrepancy we've seen since recording these "Money Wheel" results.  The landscape is ever-changing in terms of who gets to spin that wheel, meaning each and every player that walks into the poker room, has a legitimate chance of making it up to the main stage (where the wheel sits).

Thursday, March 30th: "Thursday $12k" Headlines A Busy Day In The Poker Room

ICYMI: With the "Spin to Win" high hand promotion running yesterday afternoon (into evening), there was one tournament on the schedule.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo" w/ $25 Bounties ($5,000 GTD) began at 6:00pm, and drew a field of (44) total entries.  There were five spots getting paid in the event, with a min-cash receiving $312, and $1,560 up top.  As the tournament reached the money, play continued on as scheduled, until heads-up play was reached.  At that point, Raul Diaz (Miami, FL) and Jared Carter (Pompano Beach, FL) agreed to an "even" chop, with Diaz taking home $1,268, and Cater $1,267.  Rounding out the payouts were Alberto Weber ($624), Marcello Nucci ($429), and Danilo Parada ($312).

Tournaments: There are two tournaments on the "daily schedule" today, with the first beginning at 11:00am.  The $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD) event sees players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000 chips, playing levels of (20) minutes throughout the tournament.  The evening tournament, which gets underway at 6:00pm, is one of the two headlining events of the week.  The "Thursday $12k" is a $60 No Limit Hold'em ($12,000 GTD) event, with a 20,000 chip starting stack, and (25) minutes throughout.  The tournament sits just behind the "Tuesday $10k" in terms of popularity, and attracts fields of over (250) entries on a consistent basis.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hands" running from open to close, the No Limit Hold'em Early Bird Promotion has much of the focus for the day.  From the moment the doors open, the first (50) full houses (must be playing no limit hold'em) receive $60 in chips.  It's one of the more popular promotions for the limit players...so much so, that the no limit crew wanted in on the action.

- Players will begin with a 10,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels

Wednesday, March 29th: Wilson Heads "Tuesday $10k" Chop, "Spin To Win" At Noon

Jeremy Wilson (Apple Valley, MN)
ICYMI: Yesterday's installment of the "Tuesday $10k" attracted one of the largest fields we've seen since the new year, as a total of (443) entries (plus optional add-ons) made up a prize pool of $15,281.  The posted first place prize was just over $4,000, which equates to one-hundred buy-ins in a $40 No Limit Hold'em event!!  A total of (46) spots were being paid in the event, with the "money bubble" bringing some dramatics.  Philip Tyson (West Palm Beach, FL) and Alan Potrzuski (Deerfield Beach, FL) split the 46th place prize ($76), as they were eliminated simultaneously on the bubble.

The field continued to shrink as the night went on, with the final table being reach shortly after midnight.  After the elimination of Paul Smerdon (Oakland Park, FL) in 10th place ($183), the remaining nine players began discussing a deal.  The conversation would take some time, but the players would eventually agree to the numbers, and the "Tuesday $10k" would end in a multi-way chop.  Jeremy Wilson (Apple Valley, MN), who was visiting Florida from his home state of Minnesota, was the "declared winner" ($1,911).  The recorded cash was Jeremy's first since November of 2016, and happened to be his first visit to the winner's circle.  The rest of the final table payouts (deal agreements) are as follows:

  1. Jeremy Wilson (Apple Valley, MN) $1,911
  2. Ryan Rackleff (Boca Raton, FL) $1,846
  3. Anthony Vulpis (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) $1,685
  4. Jon Lane (Davie, FL) $1,572
  5. Pat Basilio (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $1,520
  6. Angelina Rosario (Branford, CT) $1,067
  7. Travis Hawley (Pembroke Pines, FL) $832
  8. John Magnetta (Boynton Beach, FL) $545
  9. Sharon Pickard (Wilton Manors, FL) $478
Full results from the tournament, along with the afternoon event, will be posted in "Week In Review" feature (posted every Monday afternoon).

Tournaments: With much of the focus on the high hand promotions for the day, there is only one event on the tournament schedule.  At 6:00pm, the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" ($5,000 GTD) gets underway, offering up 18,000 chip starting stacks, and (15) minute levels throughout the event.  The tournament is a "green chip bounty," meaning players are awarded $25 for every elimination they get over the course of the event.

Promotions: The high hand promotions are in full swing from the moment the doors open this morning, with the "Turbo High Hands" ($100 awarded every 10 minutes from 9:00am-12:00pm, with rollovers) distributing money at a rapid pace.  The transition at 12:00pm begins the "Spin To Win" promotion, which awarded over $15,000 in promotional prize money last week (over a span of eleven hours).  It's the high hand promotion that makes all others jealous, and affords those that have a qualifying high hand (awarded every 30 minutes), an opportunity to spin the ever-popular "Money Wheel."  The total amount awarded...along with hourly breakdown, will be published tomorrow afternoon, here on the blog.

6:00pm - $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo" w/ $25 Bounties ($5,000 GTD):

- Players will begin with a 18,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Option player "add-on" at the end of Level 10 ($25 for 10,000 tournament chips), with 100% of the "add-on" going to the prize pool
- Levels are (15) minutes in length

Tuesday, March 28th: Two More "Daily" Deals Yesterday, As "Tuesday $10k" Headlines Schedule

ICYMI: Two tournaments were on the daily tournament schedule yesterday, the first of which was an $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties ($2,000 GTD) at 11:00am.  The field consisted of (35) total entries, bringing the official prize pool to $1,730 (plus a $350 bounty pool).  There were four spots getting paid in the tournament, and after the elimination of Glen Popkin (Coral Springs, FL) in fourth place ($208), the three remaining players agreed to a deal.  Leonid Goldshteyn (Tamarac, FL) was the declared winner ($508), with Gustavo Izaguirre (North Miami Beach, FL) and Pedro Palacio (Delray Beach, FL) both earning $507 for their second and third place respectively.

The evening tournament, which was a $230 No Limit Hold'em "Deep Stack Bounty" w/ $100 Bounties, began at 6:00pm.  The tournament's prize pool once registration closed was $1,200 (plus $1,200 bounty pool), and would see three spots scheduled to make money.  Once again, the players would wait for one elimination in the money (James McCaffery, 3rd Place - $240), before agreeing to a deal.  John McCann (Philadelphia, PA) was the declared winner in the heads-up chop, earning himself $500, while Myles German (Boca Raton, FL) took home $460 for his runner-up finish.

Tournaments: There are once again two tournaments on the daily schedule today, with the first beginning at 11:00am.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) offers those in the tournament some deep play, as the starting stack is 25,000 in chips.  William Catlett (Lisbon, OH) has won this event two weeks in a row, so it will be interesting to see if he's in the field, looking for a three-peat.

Most of the attention will be focused on this evening's event though, the "Tuesday $10k," which begins at 6:00pm.  The $40 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) event gets well over (300) entries on a consistent basis, and offers players the potential for an incredible ROI (return on investment).  The posted first place prize for the tournament is usually over $3,500, which is over (80) buy-ins!!!

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hand" promotion that runs from 9:00am-3:00am (while the poker room is open), today's promotion is the Limit Hold'em Early Bird Promotion.  If you're a limit hold'em player, today is the day you circle on your calendar, as the first (50) full houses get paid a promotional amount (depending on what limit game you are playing).

11:00am - $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)

- Players start with 25,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Level will last (20) minutes throughout the event

6:00pm - $40 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD)

- Players will begin with a 12,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Optional player "add-on" at the end of Level 8 ($20 for 8,000 tournament chips), with 100% of the "add-on" going to the prize pool
-  Levels are (20) minutes in length

Monday, March 27th: Last Week Of Of March's "Madness" Upon Us

ICYMI: There was one tournament on Sunday's daily schedule, the $150 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) event, which began at 12:00pm.  The tournament's registration wrapped up with a total of (82) entries, and an official prize pool of $10,000.  The final nine players would earn themselves money in the event, with the min-cash bringing home $250, and first place receiving $3,400.  While this is one of the events we usually see end in a multi-way chop, yesterday's installment got down to heads-up play, before the final two decided to split things evenly.  Steven Zukowski (Coral Springs, FL) and Alan Dobrow (Melville, NY) both got $2,750 as part of their heads-up deal, and added another cash t their already impressive tournament resumes.  Zukowski sees his career tournament earnings eclipse $37,000, while notching his fourth recorded cash of the year.  Dobrow crosses the $60,000 mark in career tournament earnings, and records his third cash of the year.

The full results from yesterday's event will be published later this afternoon, in the "Week In Review" feature, and can also be found under the "Daily Tournament Results" link on the righthand sidebar of the blog.

Tournaments: There are two tournaments on Monday's schedule to start the week, the first being the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD) event, which begins at 11:00am.  The tournament offers a 12,000 unit starting stack, (20) minute levels throughout the event, and $10 bounties for each player elimination.

Later in the day, starting a 6:00pm, is the $230 No Limit Hold'em w/ $100 Bounties event.  This tournament was one of the "newer introductions" to this month's daily schedule, and has picked up in popularity each and every week.  It is the largest buy-in tournament on the schedule, and has attracted some of the more notable names to frequent the room.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hand promotion, the weeks gets a "quick" start with "Turbo High Hands," offering $100 every (10) minutes from the period of 9:00am-12:00pm.  Rollovers do apply with this promotion (with each game in the house eligible), so it's not uncommon to see a player pick up anywhere from $100-$500 during the promotion.

- Players will begin with a 10,000 starting stack

Saturday, March 25th: Weekend Warriors Have Their Day

ICYMI: Friday's evening tournament ($150 No Limit Hold'em $10,000 GTD) drew a sizable crowd, with the official prize pool eclipsing the posted $10,000 guarantee ($10,580).  The final ten spots would be paid, and once that point was reached, we had a final table housing numerous Isle Poker Room tournament regulars.  After Robert Mikuski (Margate, FL) was eliminated in 10th place ($243), John Palace (Jupiter, FL) would become the first well-known player to exit the tournament (9th Place - $290).  It wouldn't be until Gyorgy Cseke (Tamarac, FL) in 7th place ($444), that the remaining players would start discussing a deal.

After some number crunching, the final six players agreed to a chop:

  1. Hosney "Tony" Boutros (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $2,161
  2. Juan Martinez (Margate, FL) $1,728
  3. Anthony Kuchar (Palm Beach Gardens, FL) $1,643
  4. Patricia Miles (Lapeer, MI) $1,416
  5. Eric Nuss (Waterloo, ON) $1,302
  6. David Levine (Miami, FL) $993
The full results will be posted in Monday's "Week In Review" feature, along with all of the official numbers from each tournament held this past week.

Tournaments: Two tournaments are on today's schedule, totaling $11,000 in guaranteed prize money.  The first tournament, which begins at 11:00am, is a $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo" w/ $25 Bounties ($3,000 GTD).  That event is followed at 6:00pm by the "New Monster Stack," a $120 No Limit Hold'em tournament with an $8,000 guaranteed prize pool.  This tournament offers a "mid-major" feel, with a 25,000 chip starting stack, and (25) minute levels throughout.

Promotions: The high hand promotions take another "breather" today, between yesterday's (11) hours worth of "turbo" high hands, tomorrow's (7) hours of $300 high hands (awarded every 15 minutes).  The "standard high hand" procedure is in place, awarded prizes to qualifying high hands every (30) minutes (with rollovers).

Friday, March 24th: Millward Tops Star-Studded "Thursday $12k" Final Table, Weekend Starts Off Strong

ICYMI: Last night's "Thursday $12k" was another successful tournament, attracting a total of (273) entries, and ending with an official prize pool of $13,646.  As expected, it was a "who's who" of Isle Pompano tournament poker regulars in the crowed, including the likes of Michelle Milker, Pedro Palacio, Changfei Cui, Tom Millward, Tom Gity, Antonio Albanes, Irwin Block, and Adel Jo (just to name a few).  After registration closed (around 9:00pm), and all of the player add-ons were added to the prize pool, just over half of the field remained.  With no option for re-entry, those left had their eyes on one of the (27) spots getting paid...most staring at the $3,819 first place prize.

Matthew Meeuwen (Green Acres, FL) was the first player to cash in the tournament, earning $123 and beginning the flurry of short stacks busting from the field.  Some of the names to grab a min-cash were Waldemar Wasilewski (Deerfield Beach, FL), Patricia Conrad (Palm Beach Gardens, FL), Gary Lopes (Delray Beach, FL), and Robert Kline (Ft. Lauderdale, FL).  As the field continued to shrink, more big names made their way to the tournament podium to receive their prize money, including Irwin Block (18th Place - $143), Calixto Rodriguez (14th Place - $164), and Michael Gutterman (11th Place - $191).

When the final table was reached, the players that remained were some of the most successful Isle Casino Poker tournament regulars: Tom Gity, Adel Jo, Bruce Smith, Bruce Levin, Karen Rutherford, Simon Welds, Charles Lee, Patrick Carnakie, Bart Lino, and Tom Milward.  Bruce Smith (West Palm Beach, FL) was the first player eliminated from the final table, earning himself $191.  Smith was followed by Bruce Levin in 9th place ($246), Karen Rutherford in 8th place ($341), Simon Welds in 7th place ($464), and Charles Lee in 6th place ($600).  The interesting thing to note about this final table, it that a deal was never really something the players were considering.  There sitting, with five players remaining, some of the top players to frequent the daily tournaments.  The event played down to an outright winner, with Tom Millward (Boca Raton, FL) hoisting his first ever Isle Casino Poker trophy, after besting Bart Lino (Coral Springs, FL) heads-up.  The rest of the final five results are as followed:

  1. Tom Millward (Boca Raton, FL) $3,819
  2. Bart Lino (Coral Springs, FL) $2,252
  3. Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) $1,501
  4. Patrick Carnakie (West Palm Beach, FL) $1,044
  5. Adel Jo (Miami, FL) $778
All of the results will be posted next Monday, in the "Week In Review" featured, along with the "Daily Tournament Results" link on the right-hand sidebar of the blog.

It's well over $16,000 in high hand money ready to be awarded over the course of the day, and with the NCAA tournament going on as well, the poker room will surely be buzzing.

6:00pm - $150 No Limit Hold'em  $10,000 GTD

- Players will begin with a 20,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (12) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

ICYMI: With the "Spin To Win" promotion garnering much of the attention yesterday, there was one tournament on the schedule ($100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" $5,000 GTD).  The event attracted a total of (77) entries, and finished with an official prize pool of $4,404 (excluding bounties).  Eight spots were getting paid, and after one elimination in the money (Linzell Borders in 8th place), the remaining seven players agreed to an even chop (as close to even as possible).  David Goldfarb (Boca Raton, FL) was the declared winner, and earned a few more dollars than the rest of the group ($609).  The rest of the players involved in the deal earned themselves $606: Joseph Verrasto, Christian Humphries, Allen Levine, James Podwika, John Costello, and Michael Gaigelas.

Promotions: After an incredible day of wheel spins yesterday, and (15) hours of "special" high hand promotions coming up tomorrow, today is more of a "light day," in terms of high hand promotions.  From 9:00am-12:00am, the "standard" high hand promotion will be in place, awarding qualifying high hands every (30) minutes across that time period (rollovers are live).  The No Limit Hold'em Early Bird Promotion will run coinciding to start the day, as the first (50) full houses earn $60, with only those playing in a no limit cash game eligible.

Tournaments: There are two tournaments on the schedule today, beginning at 11:00am with the $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties ($2,000 GTD).  That tournament is followed this evening with the increasingly popular $60 No Limit Hold'em $12,000 GTD, getting underway at 6:00pm.

Wednesday, March 22nd: Catlett Goes "Back-To-Back", "Spin To Win" Begins At Noon

Daniel Shortley (Lake Worth, FL)
ICYMI: There were two tournaments on the schedule yesterday, the first being the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD).  William Catlett (Lisbon, OH), who has made his name familiar to those following daily tournament results, won the event for the second week in a row.  The tournament, which had (38) entries and a $3,000 prize pool, did end in a four way deal...but it was Catlett's name on top of the results (earning $800).  Yesniel Pulido (Davie, FL) also took home $800 for his second place finish, along with Alfonso Perez (Coconut Creek, FL) for third ($800), and Robert Cavataio (Delray Beach, FL) rounding out the deal with $600 for fourth place.

The "Tuesday $10k," a $40 No Limit Hold'em ($10,000 GTD) tournament that always attracts huge fields, continued that trend last night.  A total of (338) entries joined in on the action, with the official prize pool having grown to $11,126.  A total of (36) spots got paid in the event, which ended in a twelve-way chop.  It's the second time in a week that we've seen one of these daily tournaments end in a deal that consisted of more than the final table.  Daniel Shortley (Lake Worth, FL) was the declared winner, taking home $1,545 for his "first place prize."  Maxton Habitzreuter (Pompano Beach, FL) also took home over four-figures for his "runnel-up" finish ($1,248), with Isle Poker notables Sahadeo Seenarraine (Tamarac, FL), Karen Rutherford (Meadville, PA), and Walter Swirsky (Delray Beach, FL) taking part in the chop as well.  Full results can be found listed in the "Week In Review" feature (posted next Monday), along with the "Daily Tournament Results" link on the righthand sidebar.

Tuesday, March 21st: Jo Back On Top Again..."Monster Stack" And "Tuesday $10k" Headline Schedule

Adel Jo (Miami, FL)
ICYMI: Yesterday's afternoon event, the $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties ($2,000 GTD), officially ended with (39) total entries ($1,958 prize pool).  The were four spots getting paid in the tournament, with the final table action playing down to an outright winner.  Scott Jaffa (Wayne, NJ) earned his first ever Isle Casino Poker tournament win, taking home $800 for his efforts.  Jaffa bested Gerald Blum (Boca Raton, FL) during heads-up play, with Blum earning $590 for the runner-up finish.  Rounding out the top four were David Gray (Pompano Beach, FL) in third place ($333), and William Catlett (Lisbon, OH) in fourth place ($235).

The evening event, a $230 No Limit Hold'em w/ $100 Bounties, also played down to an outright winner.  With (29) total entries and a $2,900 prize pool (bounties are not included in official prize fund), it would be Adel Jo (Miami, FL) returning to the winner's circle ($1,450).  It's Jo's third tournament win here at the Isle Poker Room (recorded on Hendon Mob), as well as his fourth final table of the year.  Adel also won the $100 No Limit Hold'em DeepStack Turbo event last month during the Battles At The Beach (Event 13 - $1,583).  There were only three spots paid in the tournament, with Patrick Lacoste (Hallandale Beach, FL) the runner-up ($870), and Maury Halperin (Lauderdale By The Sea, FL) finishing in third place ($580).

Tournaments: There are two tournaments on the schedule today, including one that has become the most popular event with the players.  The "Tuesday 10k" affords players the opportunity earn an incredible return on investment, shelling out only $40 for the buy-in.  The tournament has consistently attracted over (350-400) total entries, and tonight should be no different.  Last week's installment of the tournament had (384) total entries, and ended in an eleven-way chop, one of the first times we've seen more than the final table agree to a deal.  The afternoon event is the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which carries with it a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Promotions: Today's promotion was so popular amongst players, that those playing no limit hold'em became somewhat envious (and have now been given their own day for the same promotion).  The Limit Hold'em Early Bird Promotion kicks off the moments the poker room doors open (9:00am), and award those playing any limit game the opportunity to earn the "table minimum" for a full house.  Players in the 2/2 LH will earn $20 for each full house, with those in the 2/4 LH receiving $40 for their full houses.
