"Week In Review:" Official Daily Tournament Results (May 29th-June 4th)

There are certain tournaments that "come out of nowhere" to surprise with the attendance, and the afternoon tournament on Monday, May 29th was that event.  That tournament usually averages anywhere between 25-35 total entries, but last week saw a total of (52) make up the field.  Dana Leonaggeo (Pompano Beach, FL) booked her first ever tournament win, which also happened to be her second cash.

There was another first on Sunday, June 4th, as the "Hard Stop, ICM Chop" was introduced to the calendar.  The event is intended to give players more of a comfort, knowing that the tournament will be over by a specific time (which in this case is between 12:15-12:30am).  The payouts are scheduled "as normal," but once the hand-for-hand process (ten hands) is completed after Level 16, the remaining payouts are determined by ICM calculations.  It's only fitting that one of the poker room's regulars won the inaugural event, with Tom Gity earning an even $1,000 for his efforts.
