Thursday, September 14th: "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" And "Turbo High Hands" Headline Thursday's Action

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament action got underway at 6:00pm, as the cards got in the air for the $75 No Limit Hold'em event.  The "intimate" field was comprised of (19) total entries, and after the optional add-ons were included in the prize pool, the official number would close at $988.  Once the payouts were posted, the field would see that three players would reach the money, with action pausing once that point was reached.  The final trio began discussing a deal, and eventually came to terms of a three-way chop, with Michael Rayner (Deerfield Beach, FL) the declared winner.

  1. Michael Rayner (Deerfield Beach, FL) $388
  2. Jared Carter (Pompano Beach, FL) $357
  3. Da Araujo (Pompano Beach, FL) $243

Tournaments: There is one tournament on the schedule this Thursday, with the action beginning at 6:00pm.  The $100 No Limit Hold'em "Big Stack Turbo Bounty" is structured with starting stacks of 18,000 units, and levels that last (15) minutes over the course of the event.  At the end of registration (after Level 10), players remaining have the opportunity to purchase an optional add-on, with $25 seeing a return of 10,000 units.

Promotions: The Full House Early Bird promotion is in it's regularly scheduled spot this morning, but it's no longer just for limit hold'em players.  Every table in the poker room (excluding time raked games) is eligible for the promotion, which pays out the first (50) full houses (payout depends on which stakes are being played).  Similar to what is run on Friday's, there will also be $300 awarded to qualifying high hands every (15) minutes (from 12:00pm-4:00pm).
