Isle Classic Event #10 (Day 2): Raymond Roberty Flopped Dead By Santana, Eliminated In 14th Place ($2,595)

2017 Isle Classic | Event #10
$360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Level 24 (Blinds 12,000/24,000/3,000)
Total Event #10 Entries: 679
Event #10 Players Remaining: 13

Raymond Roberty (Miramar, FL) looked to be in good shape when the cards were tabled for his all-in, but ended up exiting the tournament area before the river even hit the felt.

Purely coincidental, all of the larger stacks were at Table 1 after the redraw, while Table 2 hosted the shortest stacked players in the field.  Two of those short players did battle moments ago, with the players holding a 1,000 chip difference in stacks.  Santana Noronha shoved from early position, and would be called by Raymond Roberty, who was in the big blind.  When the cards were tabled, it would be the A♣ J♠ of Santana, versus the J♠ J of Roberty.  There was an ace right in the window, and once the dealer fanned out the flop of A♠ A 5♠, Roberty would be drawing dead.  Raymond (Miramar, FL) headed to the podium to collect his 14th place money ($2,595), while Santana chipped up to 900,000.

Santana Noronha - 900,000 (37bb)
Raymond Roberty - Eliminated in 14th place ($2,595)
