Monday, June 19th: Final Full Week Of June Starts With A Full Slate

ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament action was on the "lighter" side, as most players were with their families celebrating Father's Day (which is the reason there was no guarantee on the event).  The $150 No Limit Hold'em tournament saw registration close with (16) entries, and a prize pool of $1,840.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, and once players reached the money, the trio agreed to a fairly even chop.  Peter Odiot (Hollywood, FL) would be the "declared winner," and would earn just one dollar more than his fellow competitors.

  1. Peter Odiot (Hollywood, FL) $614
  2. Alan Saltzman (Lantana, FL) $613
  3. Maikel Reeder (Amsterdam, Netherlands) $613
Tournaments: There are two tournaments on the schedule to start the week, with the first beginning at 11:00am.  The $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties tournament carries with it a $2,000 guarantee, and offers players an event structured to finish up in the late afternoon.  This event usually wraps up some time between 3:00-4:00pm, and most often gets chopped up.  While the field for the Monday afternoon event is on average between 20-30 entries, the new evening tournament in place sees upwards of 200-300 entries.  The $40 No Limit Hold'em ($8,000 GTD) had a home on Tuesdays, but has since relocated to this time slot.  The tournament sees players sit down to starting stacks of 12,000 units, and playing (20) minutes throughout the entire event.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard high hand" promotion, there will be "Turbo High Hands" from 9:00am-12:00pm.  During that window of time, $100 will be awarded to the qualifying high hand every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).
