Tuesday, June 27th: Efron And Jaffa Top Tournaments, Full Slate Of Promos And Tourneys

ICYMI: After a few weeks of "intimate" Monday afternoon crowds, yesterday's $80 No Limit Hold'em w/ $10 Bounties ($2,000 GTD) hosted a field of (40) total entries.  The $2,320 prize fund ($1,920 prize pool and $400 bounty pool) surpassed the posted guarantee, and offered up a first place prize just short of $800.  A total of five spots were scheduled to get paid, and after the money bubble burst, the remaining players began discussing a deal.  Once the numbers were agreed to, it would be Paul Efron (Coconut Creek, FL) earning top billing (and $516).  Efron, who has a resume with over $26,390 in earnings, locked up his first ever recorded win (on Hendon Mob).

Last night's evening time slot (6:00pm) would be filled by one of the many "special" tournaments of the month, a $60 No Limit Hold'em event with a $12,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The field would be comprised of (234) entries, which equated to the $12,000 prize pool.  A min-cash in the event saw players earning $83, while the posted first place prize stood at $2,808.  Numerous Isle Poker notables notched scores on their tournament resumes, including Michael Geller, Michele Milker, Linzell Borders, Danilo Parada, Irwin Block, and Domenico Barilla.  The final table would be reached just before midnight, with action continuing until play reached four-handed.  At that point, the players remaining agreed to a deal, with Scott Jaffa (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) the "declared winner."

Tournaments: "Tournament Tuesday" begins with the $100 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD), with the cards getting in the air at 11:00am.  The "player-friendly" structure sees entrants sitting down to starting stacks of 25,000 units, and playing levels that are (20) minutes in length throughout.  The evening time slot hosts another big guaranteed tournament, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em ($12,000 GTD) beginning at 6:00pm.  Players sit down to starting stacks of 16,000 units, and play (20) minute levels for the entirety of the event.

Promotions: The Limit Hold'em Early Bird promotion is in it's regularly scheduled spot this morning, but there is one "not so small" addition to the schedule..."Turbo High Hands."  Similar to what is run on Friday's, there will be $300 awarded to qualifying high hands every (15) minutes (from 12:00pm-4:00pm), followed by $300 high hands (under the same 15 minute schedule) from 4:00pm-Midnight.

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Level will last (20) minutes throughout the event

- Players will begin with a 16,000 starting stack
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will receive full stacks
- Levels are (20) minutes in length throughout
