2017 Isle Open Schedule Announced (October 4th-31st), Over $1.1 Million In Guarantees

A total of (24) main events (and 12 secondary events) make up the 2017 Isle Open, which runs from October 4th-31st, and boasts over $1,100,000 in guaranteed prize money.  The four "major" events on the schedule are:

Event #1 (Oct. 4th-8th) - $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD)
Event #7 (Oct. 12th-15th) - $360 No Limit Hold'em ($200,000 GTD)
Event #15 (Oct. 20th-22nd) - $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($150,000 GTD)
Event #21 (Oct. 26th-30th) - $1,500 NLH Isle Open Championship Event ($500,000 GTD)

There is a little wrinkle for this year's Isle Open, with what players a calling a "fifth major" added to the schedule.  The $2,500 "Single-Day Series" has found its way into the fray, garnering attention with the first posted guarantee on the tournament ($100,000).  The event has run on two occasions to this point, with a prize pools over $70,000, and $172,000.  The tournament (Event #14) runs the day before the opening flight for Event #15 ($1,100 NLH), giving yet another reason for players to arrive early for the Isle Open's "homestretch."

Outside of the "majors," some events to highlight on the schedule, are the $175 buy-in Seniors No Limit Hold'em Championship (Event #9), the $150 Limit Omaha 8B Hi/Lo (Event #11), and the introduction of the Goliath Stack (Event #13).  The Goliath Stack offers players a starting stack of 35,000 units, for a $10,000 guaranteed event.

There are also (11) satellites on the "secondary event schedule," offering everything from direct entry into the larger buy-in events, to a package deal that awards seats into both Event #7 ($360 NLH) and Event #15 ($1,100 NLH).

The full schedule (along with structure sheets) can be found on the Isle Casino Pompano Beach's main website, or by clicking here.
