Sunday, November 12th: Day 2 Players Return, The "November $100,000" Playing Down To A Winner

ICYMI: The "November $100,000" action from yesterday saw the two largest starting flights of the eight played in the event, the first of which (Flight 1G) attracted a total of (141) entries.  With 12:35 remaining in Level 16, the field would reach the 10% mark, with (15) players bagging their chips for Day 2.  The field was led by Pedro Palacio (465,000), who ended up not only bagging the chip lead bonus, but also the overall chip lead heading into Day 2.  Other notables to find a bag from Flight 1G included Brenden Clarke (190,500), Steven Bennett (163,500), and Jeff Kessler (53,500).

Just as the bagging process was finishing up, Flight 1H was getting in full swing, with (166) entries in the field once registration closed.  A total of (18) players would reach the bagging process in the final starting flight of the tournament, led by Mitchell Schultz, who bagged 388,000.  The final shot at bagging was also a successful one for Dmitry Agrachov (186,000), Richard Kirsch (175,500), Sergio Amato (110,000), and Yigal Hen (105,000).

The numbers from yesterday would bring the combined totals for the tournament to (893) entries, with (103) returning to action at 12:00pm today.  The official prize pool closed at $117,835, with the payouts for the tournament to be listed here on the blog (once they have been disseminated).

Tournaments: The "November $100,000" wraps today, as (103) players return to the poker room at 12:00pm.  The action will resume in Level 15 (which is the earliest stopping point of the eight starting flights), and is scheduled to play down to a winner.  While there is no "live blogged coverage" of this particular Day 2, a recap of the day's happenings will be listed this evening, along with the full results from the tournament.

There is another event on the day's schedule, as the ever-popular $130 No Limit Hold'em "Hard Stop, ICM Chop" ($2,500 GTD) gets underway at 6:00pm.  Players sit down to starting stacks of 20,000 units, with (20) minute levels, but there is a little wrinkle towards the end of the night.  After Level 16, the clock will be paused, and (10) final hands will be played.  Once those hands have finished, those players still left will split the prize pool (according to ICM calculations).

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that starting November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

- Levels will last (25) minutes

- The chip leader from each flight will win a seat into the $340 No Limit Hold'em Package Satellite on Wed., November 29th (satellite into $2,500 Single-Day Series and $1,500 Isle Classic Event #1).
