$2,500 No Limit Hold'em "Single-Day" Returns Tomorrow (November 29th), With A $100,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool

Tomorrow afternoon (November 30th) at 12:00pm, we see the return of the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em "Single-Day," an event that has increasingly grown in popularity with players.  The event uses a single-ante structure, which has also been a format that tournament players are growing more fond of.    The event started as a collection of some of the best tournament players around, but after running the tournament in three consecutive months, we've seen fields that aren't just full of "heroes and wizards."  In fact, there will be at least ten players in tomorrow's running that will have earned entry from today's "package satellite," giving players that don't usually enter events of this price point.

The last time this tournament was run (during the 2017 Isle Open), it had a guarantee for the first time, and attracted a field of (59) entries.  The $135,700 prize pool soared past the $100,000 guaranteed number, which also happens to be the number for tomorrow's running.  The guarantee is something that players asked for since the tournament was introduced, as should help the numbers continue to climb.

There will be "live look-ins" during tomorrow's event, along with updated coverage once the tournament reaches the money.

Wednesday, November 29th: $340 Package Satellite Headlines Schedule, Offering $4,000 Worth Of Buy-Ins To Winners

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament action started at 11:00am, with the cards getting in the air for the $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD).  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (28) entries, and a $3,000 prize pool.  Four players were scheduled to reach the money, with the tournament clock showing a first place prize of $1,350.  Once the money bubble burst, the action continued on, with Barry Teller and Jesse Mendelsohn eliminated in succession.  The final two players began discussing a deal, and eventually agreed to an even chop, each walking away with $1,080.

  2. Emery Hunt (West Palm Beach, FL) $1,080
  3. Jesse Mendelsohn (Boynton Beach, FL) $510

Tuesday's evening tournament was the $60 No Limit Hold'em ($8,000 GTD), which attracted a field of (176) entries.  Once registration closed, and the optional add-ons were included into the numbers, the official prize pool would close at $8,364.  The posted payouts showed (22) spots reaching the money, with a min-cash worth $82, and first place scheduled to take home $2,197.  Most of the final table payouts were altered, as the event ended in an eight-way deal.

Tournaments: Players would be hard pressed to find a satellite with more value, than today's $340 No Limit Hold'em Package Satellite (Into $2,500 Single-Day and $1,500 No Limit Hold'em Isle Classic Event #1).  The satellite has a 10 Seat Guarantee, with the players lucky enough to win, walking away with $4,000 worth of buy-ins.  The event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (25) minutes.  Registration is open for eight levels (and the break that follows Level 8), meaning players have until approximately 2:40pm to get into the event.

The Package Satellite is followed at 6:00pm by an $80 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes over the course of the event.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that starting November 1st, players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand!!!  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).
