ICYMI: Yesterday's tournament schedule kicked off (at 11:00am) with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($3,000 GTD).  Registration for the event closed with (27) entries, meaning three players were scheduled to wall away with $1,000 prizes.  Long before the money bubble, players agreed to a chop, with seven spots walking away with a piece of the prize pool.  Official details of the tournament are listed below:
  1. Stefania Deluca (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $636
  2. Stanton Drazen (Boynton Beach, FL) $582
  3. Chris Cheyne (London, ON) $380

  1. Diane Linke (Boynton Beach, FL) $571

  3. Frederic Berkowitz (Bedford, MA) $370
Tournaments: Two "staple" tournaments of the recurring schedule return on Thursday, beginning at 11:00am, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack."  The player-friendly event is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  This tournament has a history of attracted nice sized fields, with today's installment expected nothing less.

The "Monster Stack" is followed at 6:00pm, by a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" event.  It should be noted, that this tournament is not the "turbo bounty" that runs on Sunday's, as players get extended levels of (20) minutes (along with the 20,000 unit starting stacks).  Registration is also open through Level 8, not the ten levels that the turbo allows.

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
