The $175 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) event has now reached it's final table, after Jose De La Cruz was eliminated by Robert Tennenbaum.  The two were all-in pre, with very similar stacks, flipping a coin for their tournament life.  Jose's A♠ K took a big lead against Robert's 10 10, on the A♠ K♣ 8 flop, but the turn (J) and river (Q♠) brought running straight cards for Robert.  Jose's stack was counted down, and after finding out he had less than Tennenbaum, the clock would pause for a final table redraw.  The new seating assignments for the final table are listed below:

  1. Robert Tennenbaum - 2,900,000

Michael Bonsignore (Hollywood, FL) was texting his buddies about his good fortune to triple-up, and then managed to find another double just a few hands later.

On one of the final hands of Level 27, Michael Bonsignore was all-in for just two big blinds, and watched as there was a re-shove and call behind.  When the hands were tabled, Bonsignore would have a slim lead with A 5, against K♠ Q (Jose De La Cruz) and K♣ 10 (Marc Duquette).  The board would run out 2♠ 8 10♣ Q♠ A♣, giving Duquette the lead on the flop, and Jose the lead on the turn.  The river then gave Bonsignore the final lead, which helped him more than triple up to 460,000.

Two hands later, in a blind versus blind situation, Colby Covington would shove all-in from the small.  Michael quickly called for all of his chips, and would hold a strong lead when the cards were tabled, with Q♠ Q♣ against Colby's J♠ 10♠.  Even though Colby flopped a ten, that's as much help as he'd get, and Michael would chip up to 950,000.

Raminder Singh (Delray Beach, FL) is in a very familiar place, leading the field deep in a Isle Poker tournament.

At Table 5, Douglas Baer would shove from early position for 115,000, with action folding around to Jim Coan.  Coan (who was on the button) decided to make the call, leaving himself just under 300,000 behind.  Raminder Singh the re-shoved from the small blind, having everyone at the table covered. Once the big blind released, Coan tanked for a few moments, before folding pocket jacks face up.  Singh then tabled A♠ K, which held the lead against Baer's Q 10♠, and stayed that way through the runout.  Raminder collected the 400,000 pot, which brought his total to 1,900,000, which is currently tops in the field.

UFC star Colby Covington (Coconut Creek, FL) is one of a group of players in the field to have eclipsed the million chip mark.

Players are currently on their second break of the day, with the field now down to five active tables.  When action resumes in Level 25, the new blinds being posted will be going up to 15,000/30,000/5,000, with a chip average of 554,000.  The stacks are still on the shallow end, meaning the action should continue with the same rapid pace we've seen to this point.  Guillermo Hamilton (Miami, FL) continues to lead the field, and is accomplishing a very difficult task, of staying atop the leaderboard on a Day 2.  Updated chip counts from break are listed below:

Tom Gity (Pompano Beach, FL) has been away from the game for a while, but after focusing on business matters, is right back where he likes to be...running deep in tournaments.

The action at Table 4 was caught pre-flop, with four players heading to a flop in a raised pot (one all-in).  After the dealer fanned out a flop of Q♣ 23♠, Pasquale Caiazza checked to Tom Gity, who drop a bet of 105,000 across his cards.  Charlie McLennan was next to act, and after getting the exact count of Gity's bet, he would announce himself all-in (for just over 250,000).  Caiazza released his hand behind, and the three players would table their hands:

Gity: A♠ A
McLennan: A Q♠
Player X: 4 5

Turn: 8♣
River: 9

Gity was in great shape to win the side pot, having Charlie drawing to just two outs heading to the turn.  The main pot was still in question, as the all-in player flopped an open-ended draw, but bricked the turn and river.  "Thank you," Gity said to the dealer, after running the board out clean.  With the double elimination, Tom chipped up to 575,000, and it almost double the current chip average.

Tom Gity: 577,000 (36bb)
