Saturday, May 19th: Two New Names Shipping Friday's Events, Over $8,000 In Combined Saturday Tournament Guarantees

ICYMI: Friday's tournament action kicked off with a $120 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack," which had a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The field would end up closing with (34) total entries, and an official prize pool of $3,128.  Once the payouts were posted on the tournament clock, players in the event would learn that five spots were going to be paid out. Once the money bubble burst, the action would immediately be paused, and discussions of a chop would begin.  The numbers were eventually agreed to, with Keith Suckno (Pompano Beach, FL) declared the event's winner, earning $804.  The official details of the deal are posted below:

The "Monster Stack" was followed by what has become a Friday night staple, the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD).  This week's installment would see registration close with (76) entries, and an official prize pool of $5,000.  Every player that reached the ten-handed final table was scheduled to walk away with a pay-day, with the tournament's action playing down to the point where things were four-handed.  A chop was agreed to at that point, with Julio Melendez (Coral Springs, FL) taking home first place, and $1,157 in prize money.  The official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's tournament action begins with a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" event, which has a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes.  Registration is open until Level 8, and continues to stay open through the break that follows.  There is a $25 bounty that will be awarded for every player eliminated (paid with one green chip).

The"bounty" event is followed (at 6:00pm) by a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes over the course of the evening.  Registration is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows), which falls around 9:00pm.

Promotions: From (9:00am-10:00am), the high hand will award $150 every (30) minutes.  The high hands will then transition from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible (Isle Open events not eligible for high hand) each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

11:00am - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" ($3,000 GTD)
