Saturday, September 22nd: $10,000 GTD Evening Tournament (6:00PM) Headlines The Day's Schedule, Along With "Super High Hands"

ICYMI: Friday morning's tournament action got started at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $3,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The registration period stayed open through eight levels, and once the optional add-ons were collected (after registration closed), the official prize pool would be released.  Players still remaining then learned that five spots would receive a piece of the $3,000 pool, with first place scheduled to take home $1,230.  While many of the daytime tournaments end up in a chop, yesterday's action played down to an outright winner, with Scott Greenberg (Delray Beach, FL) besting Daniel Diamond (Plantation, FL) to take down the tournament.  Official results from the event are listed below:
  1. Scott Greenberg (Delray Beach, FL) $1,230
  2. Daniel Diamond (Plantation, FL) $750
  3. Alan Buky (Ocala, FL) $450
  4. Fabio Santos (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $330
  5. William Reich (Pompano Beach, FL) $240
The evening tournament was also an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, but the guarantee was even larger, as players had their eyes on the $5,000 number.  Registration closed with (62) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $5,000.  A total of eight players were scheduled to reach the money, and once again, we saw the event play down to an outright winner.  This time is would be Waldemar Wasiliewski (Deerfield Beach, FL) denying Ian Cohen (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) yet another Isle Casino Poker tournament win.  Waldemar walked away with $1,799 for the win, with Cohen receiving $1,058 for his runner-up finish.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Waldermar Wailiewski (Deerfield Beach, FL) $1,799

  3. James Newcomb (Parkland, FL) $663
  4. Dennis Aron (Margate, FL) $450
  5. Andrew Daire (Boca Raton, FL) $350
  6. Charles Zusag (Plantation, FL) $275
  7. Seymour Weiner (Boca Raton, FL) $225
  8. Martin Furer (Plantation, FL) $180
Tournaments: Saturday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $250 No Limit Hold'em "Black Chip Bounty."  The event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, levels that last (25) minutes, and registration that is open through Level 8.  In addition to having one of the more "player friendly" structures, the tournament also offers $100 bounties for each player elimination.

The day's headlining event begins at 6:00pm, and is a $150 No Limit Hold'em event, with a very healthy $10,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 16,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.  These five-figure guaranteed events always attract really nice crowds, and tonight's installment should be no different.  Players have until the beginning of Level 9 to join the action, which is a period of almost three hours to enter to event.

Promotions: The high hand period runs from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

In addition to the "standard" high hands, from 6:00pm through 1:00am, players are eligible for the "Super High Hands." Players that make a qualifying royal flush, will be awarded up to $3,000, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $3,000).  Players that make a qualifying straight flush, will be awarded up to $1,200, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $1,200).  Full rules and payouts are posted in the poker room, and on social media (Twitter and Facebook).
