Saturday, September 29th: Another $10,000 GTD Evening Tournament Headlines Schedule, With "Super High Hands" Returning

ICYMI: Friday kicked off the weekend with two tournaments, totaling a combined $8,000 in guarantees.  The afternoon event was an $80 No Limit Hold'em tournament, which carried with it a $3,000 guarantee.  After eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (55) entries, and an official prize pool of $3,555 (after optional add-ons were included into the number).  Seven spots were scheduled to get paid, and after the money was reached (and one player was eliminated), a six-way deal was agreed to.  Marc Roth (Plantation, FL) took first place money in the deal ($833), with the official results from the tournament listed below:

Tournaments: Saturday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $250 No Limit Hold'em "Black Chip Bounty."  The event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, levels that last (25) minutes, and registration that is open through Level 8.  In addition to having one of the more "player friendly" structures, the tournament also offers $100 bounties for each player elimination.

The day's headlining event begins at 6:00pm, and is a $150 No Limit Hold'em event, with a very healthy $10,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 16,000 units, and levels that last (20) minutes.  These five-figure guaranteed events always attract really nice crowds, and tonight's installment should be no different.  Players have until the beginning of Level 9 to join the action, which is a period of almost three hours to enter to event.

Promotions: The high hand period runs from 10:00am-12:00am (midnight), with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  From 12:00am-9:00am, players are eligible for $100 high hands every hour.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

In addition to the "standard" high hands, from 6:00pm through 1:00am, players are eligible for the "Super High Hands." Players that make a qualifying royal flush, will be awarded up to $3,000, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $3,000).  Players that make a qualifying straight flush, will be awarded up to $1,200, depending on what game they are playing (No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha are awarded the $1,200).  Full rules and payouts are posted in the poker room, and on social media (Twitter and Facebook).
