Saturday, November 24th: Numbers Continue To Grow For $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD), With Final Pair Of Flights On Tap For Saturday

ICYMI: Friday's tournament scheduled hosted two more flights of the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD), which is on pace to soar past the posted guarantee.  The opening flight of the day (Flight 1B) ended up attracting a total of (68) entries, with (7) players bagging chips for tomorrow's Day 2.  Local poker "legend" Pedro Palacio (Coconut Creek, FL) bagged the top Flight 1B stack, and will be heading to Day 2 with 299,000.  Official chip counts from the flight are listed below:

The numbers grew even larger for the evening flight (Flight 1C), with the field growing to (82) entries, by the time registration closed.  Of those entries, (9) players reached the bagging process, led by Lawrence Paden (336,500).  Paden's stack is currently the largest heading to Day 2, but there are still two more flights left to be played.  Official chip counts from Flight 1C are listed below:

After three completed flights, the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) has a combined field of (193) entries, with (21) players scheduled to return tomorrow at 12:00pm (for Day 2).  The current prize pool sits at $29,915, and should surpass $50,000 during tonight's final flight.

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule is focused around the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  There are only two remaining starting flights for players to choose from, with Flight 1D getting underway at 11:00am, followed by Flight 1E at 6:00pm.  Each of the starting flights are structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Those players that successfully bag chips from the flights, will be returning on Sunday (at 12:00pm) for Day 2.

 At 2:00pm this afternoon, there is a $55 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  The satellite is structured with starting stacks of 10,000 units, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am (Saturday into Sunday), the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) Flight 1D

6:00pm - $200 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) Flight 1E

- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips

- Levels will last (30) minutes
