Sunday, July 7th: "Chip Buster" Attracts Impressive Numbers, Staple Sunday Tournament Schedule Headlines Day

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament schedule started with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors 50+" event, which had a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The field would close with (19) total entries, and a prize pool of $1,843, which was to be spread across three pay spots.  With those healthy payouts available, players ended up agreeing to a three-way deal (after the money bubble burst):

The evening time slot hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($2,500 GTD), an event that crushed the posted number.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (58) entries in the field, and an official prize pool of $5,626.  Eight spots were scheduled to get paid, and after four in-the-money eliminations, a four-way deal was agreed to (with details posted below):

Tournaments: Sunday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that carries a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to take an add, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).

At 3:00pm, there will be an $60 No Limit Hold'em Step-Satellite, which will award (3) guaranteed seats into a $250 NLH Florida State Poker Championship Event #1 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em) Satellite.

The evening time slot (5:00pm) sees the return of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD), which was a Sunday staple for a very long time.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.

Promotions: The "standard" high hands have changed in a big way, as they will be awarding up to $300 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $300 being awarded to high hands that are made using two cards.  Those made using one card, will be awarded $150.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD)

- Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
- Optional single ($20) or double ($40) add-on at the end of registration

3:00pm: $60 No Limit Hold'em Step-Satellite Into $250 FSPC Event #1 Satellite ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em)

5:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD)

- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (15) minute
