Thursday, January 24th: "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) Headlined Thursday's Tournament Schedule, With A Big Weekend Upcoming

ICYMI: Wednesday's tournament schedule began with the very popular $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($3,000 GTD), with 1 in 10 entries scheduled to win $1,000.  The event ended up seeing it's largest field since making it's way to the recurring schedule, as registration closed with a total of (48) entries.  The $4,800 prize pool was scheduled to be paid across five spots, with four $1,000 winners, and a fifth place prize of $800.  Action played out as scheduled, with official results from the tournament listed below:

The evening tournament also saw a nice sized field, as the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD) tournament attracted a total of (38) entries.  Just like it's afternoon counterpart, the event was scheduled to see it's $2,550 prize pool paid out across five spots.  Those numbers ended up getting altered, as players agreed to a six-way chop on the money bubble.  Official results of the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: Two "staple" tournaments of the recurring schedule highlight Thursday's schedule, beginning at 11:00am, with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) The player-friendly event is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  This tournament has a history of attracted nice sized fields, with today's installment expected nothing less.

The "Monster Stack" is followed at 6:00pm, by a $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" event.  It should be noted, that this tournament is not the "turbo bounty" that runs on Sunday's, as players get extended levels of (20) minutes (along with the 20,000 unit starting stacks).  Registration is also open through Level 8, not the ten levels that the turbo allows.


Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack

6:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty"
