Monday, March 4th: Day 2 Of The $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) Headlines Monday's Schedule

ICYMI: Sunday's tournament schedule hosted the final pair of starting flights, for the $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD).  A total of (222) entries were needed to reach the guaranteed number, and right from the start of the day, it was clear that reaching that mark wouldn't be a problem.  Flight 1E and Flight 1F attracted a combined total of (253) entries, which helped bring the overall prize pool to $53,251.  Flight 1E started the day with (120) entries, of which (12) players bagged chips for Day 2, with play concluding at the end of Level 16.  Patrick Biancone led the flight with a stack of 362,000, which will see him return this afternoon, with the third largest number.

Flight 1F saw registration close with (133) entries, of which (13) players bagged chips for today's Day 2 (play ended with 18:00 minutes remaining in Level 16).  Owayne Clark bagged the flight's chip lead (335,000), which will see him return to the sixth largest stack on Day 2.

The $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) ended up with a total of (517) entries, and an official prize pool of $53,251.  There will be (55) players returning for Day 2, with gets underway at 12:00pm this afternoon.  Of the players returning, (47) will reach the money, with all eyes on the $11,156 up top.

Tournaments: Monday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with a $150 No Limit Hold'em event.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, and levels that last (20) minutes.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the ten minute break that follows.  

As mentioned above, Day 2 of the $140 No Limit Hold'em ($50,000 GTD) will resume art 12:00pm.  Players will be returning to their respective stacks, with levels that last (30) minutes through the tournament's conclusion.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em tournament, which has a $1,500 guarantee.  The event is structured with 15,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Prior to the player's first hand, they have the option to get an add-on for $10.   

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
