Friday, April 12th: $500 High Hands (Every 20 Minutes) Headline The Beginning Of The Weekend

ICYMI: Thursday's recurring tournament schedule began (at 11:00am) with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($1,500 GTD).  The event saw registration close with (11) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,500.  Two spots were scheduled to reach the money, but once action reached the money bubble, a three-way deal was agreed to.  Details of the chop are listed below:

The "Monster Stack" was followed by a $150 No Limit Hold'em "Progressive Bounty" event, which boasted a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  There were a total of (19) entries in the field (once registration closed), equating to a $1,748 prize pool (bounties not included).  Action ended in a three-way deal (for the second time), with the official results listed below:

Tournaments: Friday's tournament action kicks off at 11:00am, with a $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD), which will see every 1 in 10 entries earn a $500 pay spot.  The tournament is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  This event should is very popular with players, as it is a small investment...with a large return.

The evening tournament (6:00pm) is an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which carries a $3,000 guarantee.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to add-on, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

There is a "special" promotion that starts this evening, that will also run every Friday and Saturday in April (from 6:00pm-10:00pm).  During the listed four-hour time period, high hands will be worth $500, and will be awarded every (20) minutes.  In order for the qualifying high hand to be awarded the $500 prize, the hand must be made using both hole cards.  Qualifying high hands that are made with one-card, will be awarded a $250 prize.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

11:00am - $75 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($1,000 GTD)

- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
