Sunday, June 2nd: Turbo High Hands Once Again Start The Day, As Players Catch Wind Of The "New" Promotional Additions

ICYMI: Saturday's schedule kicked off with the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Seniors 50+" event, which carried with it, a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  It looked like there may be an overlay, but a small rush towards registration's end, saw the field closed with (16) total entries (and a prize pool of $1,552).  Two spots were scheduled to get paid, but when the money bubble was reached, three players agreed to the following deal:

The 6:00pm tournament was the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster ($3,000 GTD), an event that has become a player favorite.  The field ended up closing with (34) total entries, and an official prize pool of $3,298.  Five spots were scheduled to get paid, but as the clock struck midnight, a seven-way chip was agreed to.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Promotions: The high hands will run from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

It should be noted, that from 9:00am-2:00pm, there will be $250 high hands awarded every (15) minutes.  The winning high hands that are made using two cards will be awarded the full $250 prize, while those using one card will be awarded $125.

There are also two "new" promotional additions to speak of.  There is a "Big Stack Bonus," whereas any player to has a winning high hand (and has the largest stack at the table (at the time the high hand is made), they will earn double their winnings (up to $800)!!!  This promotional is only eligible is NO LIMIT HOLD'EM.

Also, in all eligible jackpot games, if you win back-to-back high hands, you will double your winnings (up to $800).

Tournaments: Sunday's tournament schedule begins at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that carries a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration, players have the option to take an add, choosing between a single ($20) or double ($40).

The evening time slot (5:00pm) sees the return of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD), which was a Sunday staple for a very long time.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 10.

11:00am - $80 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD)

- Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
- Optional single ($20) or double ($40) add-on at the end of registration

5:00pm - $130 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo Bounty" ($2,000 GTD)

- Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
- Late and re-entries for the first (10) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (15) minute
