Wednesday, June 12th: Early Bird Full House Promo Begins The Day, As $1,000 "Survivor" Headlines Tournament Schedule

ICYMI: With the "Bankroll Builder" in the rear-view mirror, the recurring tournament schedule returned yesterday, beginning with an $80 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD) event (at 11:00am).  Registration for the tournament would close with (18) entries, and after the option front-end add-ons were included, the prize pool officially closed at $1,500.  Three players were scheduled to get paid, and after Lee Schneider was eliminated in third place, a heads-up deal was agreed to (with details of the deal listed below):

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($2,000 GTD), which has become a very popular event with players.  The field ended up closing with (19) entries, and an official prize pool that landed directly on the posted number.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, and just like the afternoon tournament before it, a heads-up deal was agreed to (after one in-the-money elimination):

  2. Joakim Dag (Pompano Beach, FL) $754
  3. Fbio Jose Perales (Sunrise, FL) $400
Tournaments: The recurring tournament schedule sees the return (at 11:00am) of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($3,000 GTD)  The player-favorite event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  For every one in ten entries in the tournament, a $1,000 pay spot will be awarded.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration (prior to Level 9), players have the option to add-on, with a single ($20) or double ($40) add-on.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hands, the poker opens with the Early Bird Full House Promotion.  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

 The day's "standard" high hand period will last from 9:00am-12:00am, with the opportunity to win $400 every (30) minutes.  During that period, the promotion sees tournament players eligible each half-hour for $100 high hands, 2/2 limit hold'em players eligible for $200 high hands, 2/4 limit hold'em players eligible for $300 high hands, and all other raked games (1/2-5/10 NLH, 4/8 Omaha 8B, 6/12 O.E., etc.) eligible for $400 high hands.  

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

There are also two "new" promotions additions to speak of.  There is a "Big Stack Bonus," whereas any player to has a winning high hand (and has the largest stack at the table (at the time the high hand is made), they will earn double their winnings (up to $800)!!!  This promotional is only eligible is NO LIMIT HOLD'EM.

Also, in all eligible jackpot games, if you win back-to-back high hands, you will double your winnings (up to $800).
