ICYMI: The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($3,000 GTD) got things started yesterday afternoon, with players looking to get their hands on a $1,000 payout.  The tournament's field ended up closing with (25) entries, and an official prize pool of $3,000...meaning that three players were scheduled to walk away with that four-figure prize.  Players eventually agreed to a four-way deal, on the money bubble, with the official results listed below:
  1. Glen Canelstein (Coconut Creek, FL) $889
  2. Norman Boothe (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $858
  3. Blaine McRae (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $689
  4. Michael Corbett (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $564
The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The posted number would be easily surpassed, as the field grew to (28) entries, with many of those adding-on at the registration's break.  The official prize pool closed at $1,880, with results from the tournament listed below:
  1. Bill Massey (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $785
  2. Joseph Kearns (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $470

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
