Wednesday, July 3rd: With A Holiday Weekend Around The Corner, Promotions Get A Facelift

ICYMI: Tuesday's tournament scheduled started at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasted a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The registration period for the tournament would close with (30) total entries, and an official prize pool of $1,650.  Action ended in a chop, with Ben Yogel (Delray Beach, FL) taking home first place money in the deal.  Official results from the event are listed below:

The evening tournament was the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($2,000 GTD), which ended up crushing the posted guarantee.  Registration closed with (30) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,910, which was scheduled to be paid out across four spots.  There would be no deal-making in the event, as action played out to an outright winner.  Brian Dunn (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) bested Michael Boykin (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) to win, with official results listed below:

Tournaments: The recurring tournament schedule sees the return (at 11:00am) of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Survivor" ($3,000 GTD)  The player-favorite event is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  For every one in ten entries in the tournament, a $1,000 pay spot will be awarded.

At 3:00pm (and at that time all week), there will be an $80 No Limit Hold'em Satellite, which will award (3) guaranteed seats into a $340 NLH Florida State Poker Championship Main Event Mega-Satellite.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration (prior to Level 9), players have the option to add-on, with a single ($20) or double ($40) add-on.

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hands, the poker opens with the Early Bird Full House Promotion.  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands (beginning today) are changing in a big way today, as they will be awarding up to $300 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $300 being awarded to high hands that are made using two cards.  Those made using one card, will be awarded $150.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
