Tuesday, July 9th: Less Than A Week Until The 2019 FSPC, With Lots Of Satellite Opportunities Still Available

ICYMI: For the second Monday in a row, the $130 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo ($2,000 GTD) event, found itself in the afternoon time slot (11:00am).  Things got off to a "slower" start, but a rush of entries midway through registration, helped see the field close with (20) entries.  The $2,000 prize pool was to be spread across three pay spots, but players ended up agreeing to a deal with (6) remaining.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Brian Levine (Pompano Beach, FL) $577
  2. Cesar Garcia (Miramar, FL) $368
  3. Michelle Erb (Delray Beach, FL) $283
  4. Michael Boykin (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $277
  5. Stanley Oremland (Parkland, FL) $265
  6. Gregg Weiss (Delray Beach, FL) $230
The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted the $90 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Up," which boasted a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  Registration for the tournament closed with (15) entries, meaning two players would walk away with their share of the $1,500 prize pool.  Once the money bubble burst, a heads-up deal was agreed to, with the details of the chop listed below:
  1. Roberto DeSogos (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $750
  2. Oscar Matos (Pompano Beach, FL) $750
Tournaments: The afternoon time slot (11:00am) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  At the end of registration (prior to Level 9), players have the option to add-on, with a single ($20) or double ($40) add-on.

At 3:00pm, there will be an $60 No Limit Hold'em Step-Satellite, which will award (3) guaranteed seats into a $250 NLH Florida State Poker Championship Event #1 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em) Satellite.

The 6:00pm event has quickly become a favorite of the recurring tournament players.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" has a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool, which is sure to be surpassed, by the time registration closes.  The tournament is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).

Promotions: Outside of the "standard" high hands, the poker opens with the Early Bird Full House Promotion.  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding up to $300 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $300 being awarded to high hands that are made using two cards.  Those made using one card, will be awarded $150.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
