As mentioned above, there were also two trophies awarded yesterday, the first of which was to the winner of Event #6 ($250 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo $8,000 GTD). The event saw registration close with a total of (48) entries, and an official prize pool of $9,840. Six spots were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing down to an outright winner. Tournaments: The afternoon time slot (11:00am) hosts an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasts a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool. The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. At the end of registration (prior to Level 9), players have the option to add-on, with a single ($20) or double ($40) add-on.
At 1:00pm, the remaining (9) players from the FSPC Main Event will return to action, with only one structural change to take note of. The levels through the rest of the tournament are (60) minutes, opposed to the (50) minute levels that were played to this point.
In the evening time slot (6:00pm), we see the final event of the 2019 Florida State Poker Championship, a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($15,000 GTD). This should be a busy event, so make sure to try and arrive as early as possible. The tournament is structured with 16,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.
Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven day a week!!! The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.
From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
