Tuesday, August 6th: Preparing For The Month's First Multi, With A Combined $5,000 In Tournament Guarantees!!!

ICYMI: Monday's recurring tournament schedule began at 11:00am, with an $80 No Limit Hold'em event, that offered $50 rake-free re-buys (and had a $1,500 guaranteed prize pool).  Once registration for the tournament closed, there would be a field of (12) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,500.  Two spots were scheduled to get paid, with action playing down to an outright winner (as Hal Pawluk defeated Gavin Smith), with official results listed below:
  1. Hal Pawluk (Pembroke Pines, FL) $975
  2. Gavin Smith (Pompano Beach, FL) $525
Last night's (6:00pm) tournament was a $60 No Limit Hold'em event, that offered $40 rake-free re-buys.  Registration for the event closed with (23) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,171.  Three spots were scheduled to get paid, but action ended in a four-way chop, with the official details of the deal listed below:
  1. Roberto Desogos (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $650
  2. David Schnegelberger (Boca Raton, FL) $507
  3. Elsie Rodrigues (Boca Raton, FL) $507
  4. Joakim Dag (Pompano Beach, FL) $507
Tournaments: After a day full of re-buys, Tuesday's tournament schedule hosts two events that have a "standard" format.  The day's action begins at 11:00am, with a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasts a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  Players in the tournament will be sitting down to starting stacks of 14,000 units, playing (20) minute levels, with open registration through Level 8.

There is a little foreshadowing in the evening event, as the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($3,000 GTD) makes it's return to the schedule.  The popular tournament is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.  This tournament will be front and center for the rest of the week, as the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD) runs from August 7th through August 12th.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
