Saturday, August 17th: Saturday Highlighted By A $3,500 GTD Evening Tournament, And $500 High Hands (6:00PM-12:00AM)

ICYMI: Friday's scheduled kicked off at 11:00am, with the $125 Pot Limit Omaha ($2,000 GTD) event, which offered $100 re-buys.  The "intimate" field would close with a total of (12) entries, and an official prize pool of $2,000 (after the re-buys were included in the prize pool).  Two spots were scheduled to get paid, and after Arnold Cohen busted on the money bubble, a heads-up deal was agreed to (with official results listed below):

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD), which has become a staple Friday night tournament.  Registration for the event closed with (38) entries, and an official prize pool that fell directly on the number.  Five players reached the money, with action pausing once play was heads-up, after a heads-up chop was agreed to.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: More "newer" tournaments headline Saturday's recurring schedule, beginning with an $80 No Limit Hold'em "Bankroll Builder" ($2,000 GTD) at 11:00am.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration through Level 8.

The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosts a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, which boasted a healthy guarantee of $3,500.  This tournament has a very friendly structure, with 25,000 unit starting stacks, and (20) minute levels (registration is open through Level 8).

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which opens the doors seven day a week!!!  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 6:00pm-12:00am, the high hands will still be awarded every (30) minutes, but the winning amount goes up to $500 (for high hands using both cards).  Those winning high hands that are made using one card (during that time period), will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.

- Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
- Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
- Levels will last (20) minutes
