Saturday, September 9th: "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD) Returns To Action, As Do The $500 High Hands (6:00PM-12:00AM)

ICYMI: Friday's recurring tournament schedule was supposed to begin with the $125 Pot Limit Omaha w/ $100 Re-Buys event, but those proceedings ended up getting cancelled.  Therefore, the day's tournament action began at 6:00pm, with the $80 No Limit Hold'em.  At the end of registration (after Level 8), the field would close with (14) total entries, and an official prize pool of $990.  Two players were scheduled to reach the money, but a deal ended up being agreed to on the money bubble, with the official results listed below:
  1. Tomas Lambobarda (Tamarac, FL) $330
  2. Daniel Shortley (Tamarac, FL) $330
  3. Lawrence Schmitt (Lake Worth, FL) $330
Tournaments: Today's tournament scheduled sees the resumption of last week's $175 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD), which had to be postponed because of Hurricane Dorian.  There were ten total starting flights for the tournament, six of which had been completed, at the time that this decision was made.

That means today's schedule hosts the second to last pair of flights, with Flight 1G getting underway at 11:00am, and Flight 1H following at 6:00pm.  The tournament is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 8.  There are (4) flights over the next two days, with an 11:00am and 6:00pm option (Saturday-Sunday), and Day 2 on Monday.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which opens the doors seven day a week!!!  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 6:00pm-12:00am, the high hands will still be awarded every (30) minutes, but the winning amount goes up to $500 (for high hands using both cards).  Those winning high hands that are made using one card (during that time period), will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-9:00am (Saturday), the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
