Wednesday, September 11th: Recapping Tuesday's Tournament Action, As We "Get Over The Hump" With Some More Poker Action

ICYMI: Tuesday's recurring tournament schedule got underway at 11:00am, with the $100 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD).  Players had eight levels to register for the event, and when that time ran up, the tournament clock showed (19) entries.  That meant that three players were scheduled to earn a piece of the $2,000 prize pool, but those payouts ended up being altered.  Players agreed to a four-way deal on the money, with the official results listed below:
  1. Chris Colon (Baltimore, MD) $800
  2. Stepan Matzura (Pompano Beach, FL) $400
  3. Mark Hartstein (Delray Beach, FL) $400
  4. Vincent Dellapi (Coconut Creek, FL) $400
The evening time slot hosted the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster," which boasted a healthy guarantee of $3,000.  The posted number would be surpassed, as the field closed with (31) entries, which is the exact number needed to reach the guarantee.  Four players were scheduled to reach the money, and once the money bubble burst, an ICM chop was agreed to (with the official results listed below):
  1. Gregory Roberts (Orlando, FL) $933
  2. Daniel Shortley (Lake Worth, FL) $730
  3. Claudia Robinson (Pompano Beach, FL) $698
  4. Robert Transue (North Lauderdale, FL) $646
Tournaments: The day's recurring tournament schedule begins just like it did yesterday (at 11:00am), with a $100 No Limit Hold'em ($2,000 GTD).  The event is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

In the evening time slot, we see a $60 No Limit Hold'em tournament ($1,000 GTD), that offers rake-free $40 re-buys.  The tournament is structured with $8,000 unit starting stacks, (15) minute levels, and has registration that is open through Level 10.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
