Sunday, September 29th: Final Pair Of "Chip Buster" Flights Headline Schedule, As Numbers Continue To Grow

ICYMI: Expectations for yesterday's pair of "Chip Buster" flights were high, and they surely came through in a big way.  Both flights eclipsed the century mark, as the registration for Flight 1G (the 11:00am flight) closed with (106) entries.  A total of (13) players would reach the bagging process, with the official chip counts listed below:

If players were looking for an overlay, they were looking in the wrong place, as this installment of the "Chip Buster" will surely eclipse the guarantee today.  There have been (566) entries to this point in the event, with (79) players scheduled to return tomorrow.  The $76,410 prize pool needs only (175) more entries to eclipse the $100,000 guarantee, with the final pair of flights on today's schedule.

Tournaments: The $175 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($100,000 GTD) continues today, with the final pair of starting flights.  There is an 10:00am flight (Flight 1G), and 5:00pm flight (Flight 1H), with a satellite sandwiched in between.  The "Chip Buster" is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, has (30) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.  Players that bag chips in one of the ten starting flights (Wednesday-Sunday), will return on Monday afternoon (12:00pm), for Day 2 action.  The above mentioned satellite has a $45 buy-in, and gets underway at 2:00pm.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
