Friday, November 15th: Weekend Action Focuses On $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), And $500 High Hands This Evening (6:00PM-Midnight)

ICYMI: Thursday hosted the second pair of flights for the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), with the numbers growing from Wednesday's opening action.  The day's action began at 11:00am (with Flight 1C), and after eight levels of open registration, the field would close with (84) entries.  From that number, (17) players bagged chips for Day 2, led by Jeremy Derrich (284,000).  An official list of Flight 1C chip counts are listed below:

The evening flight (Flight 1D) got underway at 6:00pm, and after over four hours of open registration, the field would close with (76) entries.  Of those entries, (14) players would bag Day 2 chips, led by Gary Fitzgerald (295,000).  Official Flight 1D chip counts are listed below:

At the halfway point of these opening flights, there have been a total of (266) entries, of which (54) players bagged Day 2 chips.  The prize pool sits at $42,560, and should cruise past the guarantee at some point during tomorrow's afternoon action.

Tournaments: Four down...and four more to go.  The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) has reached it's halfway mark (in regards to opening flights), with the real number expected over the next (48) hours.  There are two flights on tap (Flight 1E at 11:00am, and Flight 1F at 6:00pm), along with a $45 No Limit Hold'em Satellite for the tournament (at 2:00pm).  The flights for the multi are structured with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and have registration that is open through Level 8.  Players that successfully bag chips from any of the starting flights, will return on Sunday for Day 2 (12:00pm).

Those looking to get into the tournament for a fraction of the price, can head to the poker room at 2:00pm.  There is a $45 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), running each day (through Saturday).

Promotions: The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands get a little "November boost," as they transition to $500 every (30) minutes.  Players that make the high hand with one card during that period, will be awarded a $250 prize.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
