Saturday, February 1st: $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) Coming Down The Homestretch, $500 High Hands Return At Night (6:00PM-Midnight)

ICYMI: Friday hosted the third pair of starting flights for the $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD), with the numbers attracted, larger than both Wednesday and Thursday.  Flight 1E got underway at 11:00am, and after eight levels of open registration, the tournament clock showed (87) entries.  From that number, (20) players would reach the bagginbg process, with the official chip counts listed below:

The evening action began at 6:00pm (Flight 1F), and ended up becoming the largest of the six flights to have been completed.  Registration closed with (92) total entries in the field, of which (10) players reached the bagging process (with the official chip counts listed below):

Heading into the final three starting flights, the tournament has attracted a total of (445) entries, of which (82) players have bagged chips for Day 2.  The current prize pool sits at $71,200, with action on pace to eclipse the $100,000 guarantee.

Tournaments: The $200 No Limit Hold'em ($100,000 GTD) continues today, with the fourth pair of starting flights (Flight 1G at 11:00am, and Flight 1H at 6:00pm).  Each of flights carries the same structure, with 30,000 unit starting stacks, (30) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8.  Each of the flights are scheduled to conclude after Level 14, with those that remain to bag chips, returning for Monday's Day 2.

There is also a $45 No Limit Hold'em satellite into the event, which begins at 2:00pm.


Promotions: The doors open at 9:00am, with three hours of "Turbo High Hands," as $100 will be awarded every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).  The promotion runs from 9:00am-12:00pm, and has quickly become popular with the players (as the rollovers have seen some high hands reach the $1,000 mark!!!).


The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 12:00pm-6:00pm).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.

At 6:00pm, the high hands grow even larger, as $500 will be awarded every (30) minutes.  The winning high hands made with one card (during the 6:00pm-midnight period) will be awarded $250.

From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
