2018 Isle Poker Classic Main Event Champion - Jeff Trudeau (Orlando, FL)

On the final hand of the 2018 Isle Poker Classic Main Event, Jeff Trudeau opened for a raise, with Elliot Zaydman shoving for 1,200,000.  Trudeau made the call, and wished Elliot luck, as the cards found their backs:

Trudeau: A 5
Zaydman: Q♠ 10

Runout: 10♠ 5♣ 2 8♠ 5♠

Both players flopped pairs, and Elliot was in great shape to score a second double-up.  The turn came out clean for Zaydman, but he was unable to fade the river, as Trudeau made trip fives.  Jeff wins $55,416 along with the trophy, as his 2018 earnings now eclipse $600,000.  This has been a special year for Trudeau, who has really "broke out" onto the tournament scene (which is hard to say, considering he had over $394,000 last year).

Elliot earned the third largest tournament cash of his career, taking home $38,941 for second place.  The result brings his lifetime earnings north of $700,000, and helped his 2018 earnings eclipse $100,000.
