After two starting days, Event #6 of the Isle Open has attracted (95) total entries, equating to a running prize pool of $128,250. While the pace is below the point needed to reach the guarantee, there is still today's Day 1C, and open registration on Day 2. A total of (128) entries are needed to reach the $300,000 guarantee, with today's Day 1C expected to be the largest of the three starting days.
Tournaments: Just like the past two days, the Isle Open schedule for Saturday begins with a $340 No Limit Hold'em Turbo Satellite into the Main Event. The first hand is scheduled to be dealt at 10:00am, with (1) seat guaranteed into Event #6.
At 12:00pm, we have the final starting day of Event #6 ($1,500 No Limit Hold'em $300,000 GTD), with Day 1C expected to attract the largest field. Players in the tournament will sit down to 40,000 unit starting stacks, play (50) minute levels, and can register throughout the day's action. Registration will stay open through Level 12, which is the second scheduled level of Day 2.
At 6:00pm, Event #7 of the Isle Open begins, and is sure to be one of the more popular events of the series. The $100 No Limit Hold'em event has a $5,000 guaranteed prize pool, and is structured with 25,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration open through Level 8. This is a one-day event, with a trophy to be awarded some time in the early morning hours (Sunday).
Promotions: The "standard" high hands will be awarding $300 every (30) minutes (from 9:00am-6:00pm). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded to those that use one card to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, high hands are worth $100.
At 6:00pm, the high hands get a little "October boost," as they transition to $500 every (30) minutes. Players that make the high hand with one card during that period, will be awarded a $250 prize.
From 12:00am-9:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
