Saturday, June 25th: Jonathan Jimenez Strengthens His Standings, While James Tomblin Assumes The Runner-Up Spot (Only Two Tournaments Remain)!!!

ICYMI: Friday's $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD) is still "new" to the schedule, but it's clear that players are on board.  Last night's tournament was a great example, as registration for the event closed with a very impressive number of (100) entries.  The $7,020 prize pool cruised past the posted guarantee, and offered payouts to a total of (13) players.  Just like Thursday's tournament, action played down to a heads-up chop, with Seth Levine and Omar Sader walking away with $1,729 (Sader earned a single dollar less).  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:
  1. Seth Levine (Pinecrest, FL) $1,729
  2. Omar Sader (Pompano Beach, FL) $1,728
  3. Adam Mammon (Lauderhill, FL) $807
  4. Marc Cohen (Boca Raton, FL) $527
  5. James Tomblin (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $411
  6. Myung Choi (Boynton Beach, FL) $328
  7. Blake Kelly (Louiseville, KY) $279
  8. Jonathan Jimenez (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $242
  9. Seth Medoff (Pompano Beach, FL) $214
  10. Robert Getschow (Pompano Beach, FL) $193
  11. Fredrick Attias (Boca Raton, FL) $193
  12. Renee Hunt (Nashville, TN) $193
  13. Tyler Gray (Bradenton, FL) $176

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 15,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event. Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.

Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

In addition to the high hands, there is a "bonus" promotion in place, which offers $1,000 to the highest hand from the 9:00am-12:00pm time period.  If a player makes a straight flush in the 9:00am-9:30am qualifying period, and that is the best qualifying high hand from 9:00am-12:00pm, they will earn an extra $1,000 (in addition to the $300 they were awarded for the half-hour time period).

  • Players start with 15,000 in tournament chips
