Thursday, December 12th: "Chip Buster" Back Again, Headlines Recurring Tournament Schedule

ICYMI: Yesterday was "bounty" day, in regards to the recurring tournament schedule, as both time slots hosted that format of events.  At 11:00am, players began showing up for the $60 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" tournament (which awarded $10 bounties), with the field growing to (15) entries.  The $480 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across two pay spots, with action playing down to an outright winner.  The official results from the tournament are listed below:
  1. Markus Petteway (Jacksonville, FL) $312
  2. Greg Weiss (Delray Beach, FL) $168
The evening time slot (6:00pm) hosted a $125 No Limit Hold'em "Bounty" event, which awarded $25 for each elimination.  Registration for the tournament closed with (10) entries, and an official prize pool of $700.  Two spots were paid out in the event, as a heads-up deal was agreed to, with official results listed below:
  1. David Coughlin (Lighthouse Point, FL) $400
  2. Angela Fritchman (Hellertown, PA) $300
Tournaments: In the evening time slot, we have the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Chip Buster" ($3,000 GTD), one of (if not) the most popular recurring tournaments on the schedule.  The event is structured with 50,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8.

Promotions: The doors open at 9:00am, with three hours of "Turbo High Hands," as $100 will be awarded every (10) minutes (rollovers apply).  The promotion runs from 9:00am-12:00pm, and has quickly become popular with the players (as the rollovers have seen some high hands reach the $1,000 mark!!!).

The standard high hand promotion then takes over, and runs from 12:00pm-12:00am.  Qualifying high hands will be awarded $300, given away every (30) minutes (no rollovers).  During that period, if the winning high hand is made using one card, a $150 prize will be awarded.  For those players playing in a tournament, winning high hands will be paid out $100.

From 12:00am-3:00am, $50 high hands will be awarded every (60) minutes.
