Tournaments: As mentioned above, today's schedule is headlined by the second of two opening Days for Event #1 of the FSPC ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em $100,000 GTD). The tournament is structured with 30,000 unit starting stacks, and (40) minute levels during each of it's Day 1's (levels will transition to 60 minutes at the final table). Registration is open through all of Day 1 (which is scheduled to play 12 levels), and will continue to stay open until the first hand is dealt on Day 2.
Before the Day 1B action starts at 12:00pm, there is a $250 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo" Satellite into Event #1, guaranteeing one seat into the event.
There are also two more satellites on today's schedule, including another $250 No Limit Hold'em "Turbo" Satellite into Event #1 (1 Seat Guarantee) at 3:00pm, and a $130 No Limit Hold'em Satellite into Event #1 (2 Seats GTD) at 6:00pm.
Promotions: The daily promotions saw a small "makeover" yesterday, and will run with the same schedule each day, for the rest of the month of July. Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven day a week!!! The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.
From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
