Sunday, February 7th: Should Breaking Records Even Be A Surprise Anymore...Tournaments At The Isle Are Crushing!

ICYMI: Saturday's tournament had been known as the best value event on the weekly schedule, offering up sizable prize pools for a $100 buy-in.  For a span of a few months, the tournament carried a $3,000 guarantee, and consistently surpassed that number.  The poker room management team recognized that, and decided to make things even more attractive...making the guarantee $5,000.

The players took note of that change, and showed up stronger than ever before, to the tune of (121) entries (which equated to a $9,075 prize pool).  Sixteen players would eventually reach the money, with action playing down to a five-handed final table, when a chop would be agreed to.  Matthew Chrissy (Lighthouse Point, FL) took home first place money in the deal ($1,633), with full results from the tournament listed below:

  1. Matthew Crissy (Lighthouse Point, FL) $1,633
  2. Craig Caffro (Pompano Beach, FL) $1,592
  3. Marc Zeitlin (Miami, FL) $1,217
  4. John Miller (New York, NY) $1,009
  5. Rodolfo Miret (Pembroke Pines, FL) $858
  6. Antonio Campbell (Pompano Beach, FL) $390
  7. Brent Ferguson (Boynton Beach, FL) $338
