Sunday, February 21st: Saturday Night Breaks Records Once Again, As The "Monster Stack" Caps Off Another Great Tournament Weekend

ICYMI: When last week's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) broke records with (147) entries, it was a pretty eye-opening moment.  With numerous events going on across the community last night, nobody expected the same type of numbers...but it happened! Last night's tournament attracted (149) entries, and had a prize pool of $11,175. We may have a new "Weekend Swing" headliner on our hands!!! The evening's action concluded in a three-way chop, with Patricia Conrad taking home $2,358 for first place.  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.

Promotions: One of the changes in the promotional calendar for January, was the addition of $300 high hands on Sunday. From 11:00am to 11:00pm, players will be vying for those $300 bonus payments every (30) minutes.  Those qualifying high hands must be aces-full or better, using both hole cards (one card high hands no longer qualify).
