Sunday, July 25th: $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD) Headlines Sunday's Action, With Lots Of Leaderboard Points Up For Grabs!!!

ICYMI: With five events now remaining in the month of July, the Player of the Month leaderboard is taking shape, but there is still an opportunity for almost anyone to climb to the top (there are still enough points available for someone with 0.00 points at the moment).  Last night's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) lived up to it's "value-town" nickname, as registration closed with a total of (148) entries.  The $11,100 prize pool was scheduled to be spread across (19) spots, with action playing down to a five-handed final table.  Once play reached that point, a deal was agreed to, with William Romano Jr. (Pompano Beach, FL) taking home first place honors.  Official results from the event are listed below:

Tournaments: It's been a while since we introduced a new tournament at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, but today's the day!  At 3:00pm, the cards get in the air for our $400 No Limit Hold'em ($20,000 GTD), an event that is sure to attract some South Florida's best tournament players.  The event's structure will see players sitting down to starting stacks of 20,000, and playing (25) minute levels.  Registration is open through Level 8, and the short break that follows.

With the way tournaments have been at the Isle Casino Pompano Park, it should come as not surprise, if this event surpasses all expectation.  Those looking to get updates on numbers, can follow the action on the Bravo Poker Live app.  All results from this afternoon's action will be recapped tomorrow on the blog.

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

• Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
• Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
