Sunday, May 30th: Palacio Continues Incredible Form, Adding Some Space After Chopping Last Night's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD)

ICYMI: Saturday's $100 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event was one of the final opportunities for players to catch Pedro Palacio on the leaderboard, but he just ended up extending his lead.  After registration closed with (135) entries (and a $10,125 prize pool), action played down to a six-way chop (which saw Palacio take home fifth place money, along with the valuable leaderboard points that come along).  Official results from the tournament are listed below:

Tournaments: The action for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD) gets underway at 3:00pm, with another great crowd expected.  The tournament is structured with 20,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  Results from the event will be posted tomorrow morning, in Monday's blog update.




Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) to 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  The 11:00pm-Close period will then see $100 high hands awarded every (30) minutes.

3:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em "Monster Stack" ($3,000 GTD)
  • Players start with 20,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
