Saturday, January 16th: Friday Continues To Exceed Expectations, With The Same Expected For This Evening ($100 No Limit Hold'em $3,000 GTD)

ICYMI: Friday night hosted yet another successful $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event, with the prize pool more than doubling the posted guarantee.  Registration for the tournament closed with a total of (115) entries, and an official prize pool of $13,225.  While this event has had a $5,000 guarantee for a couple of months now, it can rightfully be considered a $10,000 prize pool each time it runs.  A total of (15) players were scheduled to make the money, with the tournament pausing once heads-up action was reached (as a deal was then made).  Christopher Buggs and Brett Kelly agreed to an even chop, with the full results from the tournament listed below:

Tournament: With the incredible success of the "Weekend Swing," who would think about missing tonight's action.  At 6:00pm, the $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD) gets underway, with some serious numbers expected.  The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.



Promotions: Saturday's high hand promotion stays the same from open to close...awarded $100 every (30) minutes, to the qualifying high hand (must be aces-full or better).  In order to make a qualifying high hand, players must use both hole cards, as one-card high hands are no longer eligible.

  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
