Saturday, November 21st: Tournaments Continue To Be A Big Draw, With The Second Leg Of The "Tournament Triple" On Tap For Tonight

ICYMI: Friday's headlining event was a $150 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) tournament, which got underway at 6:00pm.  Players had just under three hours to register, and with the guarantee surpassed pretty early, only the final number was in question.  When action resumed in Level 9 (the first level post-registration), the tournament clock showed (69) entries, and an official prize pool of $7,935.  A total of nine players were scheduled to reach the money, with action playing through the money bubble, eventually pausing when things got heads-up.  At that point, the final two players (Melissa Hunt and Harold O'Brien) agreed to an event chop, with the official results from the tournament listed below:

Tournaments: While the weekdays focus more on cash games and high hand promotions, the weekends give tournament players an option each day.  On tonight's calendar, players will see a $100 No Limit Hold'em ($3,000 GTD), which has grown to match the popularity of Friday's tournament.  The event is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has open registration through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  This tournament got over one-hundred entries last weekend, with the same expected for tonight.

Promotions: Friday's high hand promotion stays the same from open to close...awarded $100 every (30) minutes, to the qualifying high hand (must be aces-full or better).  In order to make a qualifying high hand, players must use both hole cards, as one-card high hands are no longer eligible.

• Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
• Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
• Levels will last (20) minutes
