ICYMI: Monday's tournament action began at 11:00am, with the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($1,500 GTD), an event that offered $50 rake-free re-buys.  The registration period would close with (13) entries, and an official prize pool of $1,500.  Two spots were scheduled to get paid out, with the action pausing before that point was reached, as a four-way deal was agreed to.  Official results from the afternoon event are listed below:

  2. Basil Mathura (Weston, FL) $415

The evening time slot would host a $60 No Limit Hold'em w/ $40 rake-free re-buys event, that boasted a $1,200 guaranteed prize pool.  The field would grow to (24) entries, by the time the registration window closed, with two three players scheduled to reach the money.  Players eventually agreed to an even chop (on the money bubble), with the results listed below:
  1. Fedner Oralien (Denver, CO) $472
  2. Joe Sciarrino (Vero Beach, FL) $472

Tournaments: Today's action begins at 11:00am, with a $100 No Limit Hold'em event, that boasts a $2,000 guaranteed prize pool.  The tournament is structured with 14,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.

The "Chip Buster" returns at 6:00pm, but in it's recurring format, which sees a slightly more "condensed" structure.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em event has a $3.000 guarantee, which should easily be surpassed.  Players in the tournament will be sitting down to starting stacks of 50,000 units, playing (20) minute levels, and can register through Level 8.

Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven days a week (9:00am on Saturday and Sunday).  The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize.  Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50.  In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.

The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am).  Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand.  For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.

From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
