There were many similarities between the afternoon and evening event, which was a $50 No Limit Hold'em tournament, with $30 rake-free re-buys ($1,000 GTD). The field would close with (20) total entries, a $1,410 prize pool, and payouts that were scheduled to spread across three spots. Just like the earlier tournament, a five-way deal was agreed to (short of the scheduled money), with the official details listed below:
- Daniel Parada (Oakland Park, FL) $500
- Cathy Miller (Jupiter, FL) $266
- Susan Krowitz (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) $237
- Paul Price (Weston, FL) $225
- Scott Underkoffler (Treasure Island, FL) $182
Tournaments: Today, and two more Thursdays in August, the $120 Omaha 8B Hi/Lo ($2,000 GTD) finds itself a home. The tournament is structured with 12,000 unit starting stacks, (20) minute levels, and has registration open through Level 8.
The non-no limit Hold'em action is followed (at 6:00pm), by a $100 No Limit Hold'em "Green Chip Bounty" ($2,000 GTD) event. The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 14,000 units, (20) minute levels, and registration that is open through Level 8. Throughout the tournament, each player elimination is worth $25 (hence the green chip bounty).
Promotions: Things begin with the "Full House Promo," which will open the doors seven day a week!!! The proceedings begin once the doors of the poker room open, with the first (25) full houses made, earning a $50 prize. Each jackpot eligible cash game is included in the promotion, with two rules to keep in mind, when thinking about winning the $50. In order to be eligible, the full house must be made using two cards, and must be the winning hand.
The "standard" high hands will be awarding $150 every (20) minutes (from 9:00am-12:00am). Every jackpot game is eligible for the same amount, with the full $150 being rewarded, regardless of one or two cards being used to make the high hand. For those players in tournaments, two-card high hands are worth $100, with one-card high hands walking away with $50.
From 12:00am-3:00am, the high hand will be awarded $100 every (60) minutes.
