After a multi-flight (four-day) tournament, the Isle Poker Classic was back to one-day events, with two on the schedule for Monday. Event #4 saw the return of the "Structure Beast," but this time it was part of one of our seasonal series for the first time. The tournament attracted a total of (277) entries, and boasted a prize pool of $27,000. The tournament ended in a heads-up chop, with Christopher Cristillo (Nantucket, MA) earning $6,133 for his "winner's share."
Event #5 attracted a total of (77) entries, offering up a small overlay, falling just short of the $10,000 guarantee. Four players ended up taking advantage of the extra money in the prize pool, deciding on a chop that had Reece Lightner (Plantation, FL) taking home the winner's share ($2,337). Results for both of the tournaments will be posted on the blog shortly (right-hand sidebar).
