Mark Salerno (Woodbridge, Canada) ended up bubbling the final table, one that would end up hosting numerous notable names. There were four short stacks at the final table, all sitting with less than fifteen blinds, and all busting in succession (Al Gomez, Joshua Wasserman, Jose Parra, and David White). It would then be to massive pots won by Francisco Pulido, that would change the outcome of the tournament. First, Pulido would flop middle set on the Q♥ 9♠ 2♦ board, with Anthony Ruberto holding A♠ Q♣. The two got all the chips in, and Pulido would end up eliminating Ruberto, while chipping up to over 3,000,000. Then Pulido would hold an ace-high flush against the jack-high flush of Richard Kirsch, sending Richard to the payout podium. Francisco held more than half of the chips in play, and after he eliminated Sheldon Gross...and Scott Levitt eliminated Jacabo Mugrabi, the two would end up heads-up. No hands were dealt though, as they agreed to a deal, with Pulido the "declared winner" of the event. The full results of the final table are listed below:
- Francisco Pulido (Pembroke Pines, FL) $26,500
- Scott Levitt (Delray Beach, FL) $22,739
