Tuesday, August 9th: "Final Table Finish" Ends In Three-Way Chop, David Rauch Vaults To Second Place In The Rankings

ICYMI: Monday's tournament schedule saw the return of the $250 No Limit Hold'em "Final Table Finish" ($20,000 GTD), an event that has truly revolutionized recurring events in South Florida.  Registration for last night's installment saw registration close with a total of (92) entries, and an official prize pool of $20,000.  The "Final Table Finish" format meant healthy payouts for players in attendance, with first place scheduled to take home $8,000.  The official payouts ended up being altered, after the final three players agreed to a chop, which saw everyone involved walk away with at least $4,000.  Official results from the tournament are listed below, along with an updated Player of the Month leaderboard:

Tournaments: Tuesday's tournament schedule now boasts the $80 No Limit Hold'em ($4,000 GTD)...a new event that replaces the $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD).  The cards get in the air at 6:00pm, with players sitting down to starting stacks of 12,000.  Levels will last (20) minutes throughout the evening, with registration open through Level 8 (and the break that follows).  At the end of registration, players will have the opportunity to add-on for $40 (receiving an additional 15,000 chips).




Promotions: From 9:00am (the minute the doors open) until 12:00pm, there is a new promotion in June, offering boosted Early Bird High Hands.  The high hand at the top of the hour (:00) will be awarded $599, while the high hands at the bottom of the hour (:30) will be awarded $300.  From 12:00pm until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.
