Monday, June 10th: After A Super Strong Final Pair Of Flights, (43) Players Return For Day 2 Of The "Bankroll Builder"

ICYMI: For some tournaments, having a flight cancelled during the second-to-last day of play, may have thrown a wrench into the festivities.  That wasn't the case though, for the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bankroll Builder" ($30,000 GTD), as a total of (211) entries made up yesterday's action.  Flight 1G, which got underway at 11:00am, ended up seeing registration close with (89) total entries. The flight's action paused with 11:56 minutes remaining in Level 16, as the 10% mark was reached, and (9) players would bag up their chips for Day 2.  Official chip counts from Flight 1G are posted below:

Sandy Sanchez - 283,000
Michael Merisier - 168,500
Richard Maiorino - 159,000
Daniel Genachte - 158,000
Jonathan Shapir - 153,500
Justin Levy - 135,000
Brock Sypek - 115,000
Edgar Ostos - 101,000
Lee Schneider - 62,000

The final flight of the tournament needed a good showing to eclipse the $30,000 guarantee, and that's just what Flight 1H received.  After eight full levels of open registration, the field would close with (123) entries, making it the largest flight of the seven to have been played.  Flight 1H also became the only flight to play through it's scheduled end (Level 18).  A total of (13) players were able to bag chips, with the official counts listed below:

Shravoh Kulshrestha - 282,500
Paul Smerdon - 233,000
Jenny Despuzeau - 197,000

Tournaments: Today's tournament schedule begins at 12:00pm, with Day 2 of the $130 No Limit Hold'em "Bankroll Builder" ($30,000 GTD).  The action will resume with 1:40 minutes remaining in Level 11, which was the point that Flight 1B ended.  The only structural difference to note, will come at the final table, as levels will then transition to (40) minutes in length.

It should also be noted that players are able to win the high hand using only one card in their hand.  The payouts for those that use one card are different than the standard numbers listed above, and can be found (full listing of one-card payouts on flyers in the poker room).

There are also two "new" promotional additions to speak of.  There is a "Big Stack Bonus," whereas any player to has a winning high hand (and has the largest stack at the table (at the time the high hand is made), they will earn double their winnings (up to $800)!!!  This promotional is only eligible is NO LIMIT HOLD'EM.

Also, in all eligible jackpot games, if you win back-to-back high hands, you will double your winnings (up to $800).

There is an addition to the day's promotions, with the "Twilight Full House" promo beginning at 6:00pm.  The promotion sees (30) total prize awarded, with the breakdown as such: the first (15) full houses (that are tens full or better) will be awarded $50, while the first (15) quads or better will be awarded $150.  In order for hands to qualify for the promotional prize, they must be made using both hole cards (in Omaha, players must flop the qualifying high hand to be eligible).
