Saturday, October 16th: Friday's Tournament Ends In Five-Way Chop, With Another Chance For Players To Climb The Leaderboard

ICYMI: Friday's $160 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) kicked off the tournament weekend, and ended up attracting impressive numbers.  Registration for the event closed with a total of (84) entries, which equated to an official prize pool of $10,248.  Of those entries, (11) players were scheduled to see a return on investment, with the evening's action playing down to a five-way final table.  At that point, a deal with agreed to between the remaining players, with Marc Roth taking home first place money ($1,858).  The official results are listed below, along with an updated weekly leaderboard:

Tournaments: Saturday's 6:00pm tournament is one of the most popular on the schedule, as it offers an incredibly affordable buy-in, that always sees some great returns.  The $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD) event has consistently crushing the posted guarantee, as the prize pool reaches five-figures on a weekly basis.  

The tournament is structured with starting stacks of 12,000 chips, and levels that last (20) minutes throughout the event.  Registration is open through Level 8, allowing for almost three hours of play, prior to the window closing for the night.  

Promotions: From 10:00am (the minute the doors open) until 11:00pm, $300 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes. These high hands must be aces-full or better, use both hole cards, and be the winning hand (in a pot that has at least $10).  From 11:00pm until close, $100 high hands will be awarded every (30) minutes.

6:00pm: $130 No Limit Hold'em ($5,000 GTD)

  • Players start with 12,000 in tournament chips
  • Late and re-entries for the first (8) levels
  • Alternates and late entries will start with a full stack
  • Levels will last (20) minutes
